  1. That last building looks great. Are these going to be available on STEX anytime soon?
  2. Sorry to be an ahole but for a house that model looks bad. I think it's a solid model for some type of office or industrial building but for a house it looks way out of place.
  3. Like others said interchanges are easy to build in the asset editor but also traffic is probably the most challenging part bout the game so people are coming up with better systems and interchanges to manage traffic properly. The game otherwise is really easy ($ is really no object unless you charge almost no taxes) so traffic is one of those few challenges to overcome, especially when the city balloons in size.
  4. How do I raise crime rate?

IMO you really need to get a lot of those negative milestones out of the way before your city grows too large. @ 60K it's going to be very hard. If you can get those milestones at the start of forming your city it's much easier to expand and fix it. Later in the game it's much harder to completely wreck your city in a specific way (crime, unemployment, etc). 1000 Abadoned buildings is the 1 I can think of that's impossible early in the game because of lack of buildings. Personally I think it's pretty dumb that a lot (all?) of the monuments ride on the premise of having 1 terrible negative statistic to unlock.
  5. The trains seem to operate much more like a metro line than an actual train. It's weird I agree but it works fine.
  6. Basically high tech industrial = offices. Once the regular industry upgrades all the way they make more $ but they're still dirty and produce pollution. Offices make less $ and you need more of them but they are clean and quiet so you can place them alongside residential areas. Offices also seem to be affected much more by stuff similar to residential zoning where as industrial don't seem to be affected as much by the surrounding area.
  7. But, I wish the existing route could just be a small road, so the town could be on the road rather then next to it on a road to nowhere. If you did that your traffic problems would like blow up before you even hit a few thousand people. The way the game is made with the default highway entry/exit is really the best way to go about it.
  8. They have more cars and a larger radius of coverage. I mostly stick to the small service stations and use the large ones (like hospitals) in central areas where they can cover a huge chunk of city. Like I don't put large service buildings close to the water or edge of an area.
  9. Parks help a lot and basic services. Industrial areas usually have a high risk of fire so make sure you have extra fire stations in the industrial areas.
  10. Sounds good. Hopefully they will be re-uploaded. There is an option to disable auto updating of the game itself but as far as I know and have read that doesn't apply to the Workshop items. Most stuff I like the auto-updating but I've had several mods auto-update and then stop working so I was forced to unsubscribe/uninstall them. It's so easy to mod this game manually that I prefer to do it that way.
  11. I was browsing some of the mods yesterday and went back today to download them all and noticed some of the mods like tree brush, buy all land, film grain, etc were removed. Are these being put back up or was there an issue with them? I have several of them via the Steam Workshop but I prefer to manage my mods manually myself since the auto-updating of the subscribe feature has broken mods for me in the past for other games.
  12. From my experience they won't run in a loop regardless of your setup. I also tried a bunch to have them run in a loop until I realized that they wouldn't and it doesn't seem to affect anything negatively.
