DragonAnime has had a slight change to he's custom member label if you haven't noticed.

There have been 2 anti-spam custom member labels created recentley. Clues: menu divider pack, no signature.

 

There will also be another custom member label appearing soon hopefully.

Dave, in response to the question marks about the anti-spam titles, it's Rude Boy. He was given the title Local Yokel, normally a generic label, but in his case meaning exactly what it says.

If it is, we won't know untill he makes another 25 posts or so. He's currently still within the bounds of a Commoner

 

Also, the term is Frozen Generic Label because:

a) anti-spam title is unnecesserily rude, and

b) someone could be frozen for a reason other than spamming, so it's not safe to assume.

 

On another note, I do believe I was the first to have the (dis)honor of having his title frozen. I was at Hometown Hero. Although it wasn't exactly for spamming, it was more of a joke on golfbunny's part. Long story short: after the board upgrade of March '04, the titles ended at Hometown Hero. I started a thread suggesting the titles Celebrety and Simtropolis Geek (and some others which were never adopted) as additional labels. Once golfbunny added those titles to the list, I made a post in said thread to the degree of nice! I guess I'll just have to keep posting to find where the cutoffs are..., and golfbunny decided to freeze my label. Although he didn't say he'd frozen it he just posted and said hehe... good luck!. In fact, I wouldn't come to realize it had been frozen until the spam wars incident, when my post count was screwed with to the point that I should have been knocked back to Tourist. Fortunately, it was put back to its proper place soon after.

I look back on all that now and find it a bit silly... and I don't really care about having a top post count, but I do care that my post count is accurate. As far as I know, only GouRou has an innacurate post count these days. She got a bonus 5000 posts added on due to her winning some spur of the moment event in the chat room. So, just subtract 5000 from her number and you'll know how many posts she actually has.

Another Idea: rather than freezing levels why not give them the label Spammer, or something like that. It'd be much more apparent, and (at least in my opinion) more embarassing to have. Of course, knowing how things usually work around here, now that I've said it, it's never going to happen.
