How do I merge two mods? I love the Takouma (the Shinkansen version), but for trams I prefer Oppie's  Unfortunately, Oppie's mod doesn't show up if you use both. So, I think that I need to merge the two.

You shouldn't have to do anything in this situation. If they don't work separately, putting the two package files together won't do anything.

I don't know why one would override the other. One modifies rail bridges, but the other modifies streetcar bridges.

If you really want the two together, you would open SimCityPak, add the packages you want to merge, then select all of the files and export them as one package.

    hey thanks

the rail bridge mod says "Improved Railroad and Streetcar tracks". I want the railroad bridge from it, but the streetcar bridge from the tram mod.

I need to merge them together and resolve conflicts .. I am hopeful that the way the mods work is different enough that merging them together will fix the issue. Here's what I hope is happening:

    1. simcity starts

    2. oppie's bridge tram mod loads and modifies streetcar bridges

    3. takouma's mod loads and modifies rails, rail bridges and streetcar bridges (overriding oppie's mod by load order)

I'm not really sure and haven't tested it, but I would assume that if you rename Oppie's mod so it comes before the other one (alphabetically), it might help.

Oh yes - this is also called overriding. Mods that load first always override the ones which come after. Dang it, I forgot about that simple feature.
