What's up with the Simcity official forums?

They've been down most of the day with DNS error and now it goes to ea.com.  Anyone know what's going on?  It would have been nice to have a notification it was going down.  There's a lot of valuable info on there.  I don't see where they are added in the Answer HQ (which is still in BETA).

 

I can't help shaking the feeling that EA is terying to kill this game on a daily basis.  It's been steps backwards since day 1.  Will we ever get any steps forwards?

I wouldn't be surprised to see that EA had just decided to take them down. It's been two years, they don't want to support the game anymore. They have "better" things to do.

The forums are up.

I'm able to access them right now.

 

EA has been having server issues today that has caused many of their forums and online games and modes to go down.

 

If that makes you feel any better Sony still has regular server issues knocking PSN out for many PS4, PS3 and PSV users.

Though it seeminly effects PS4 users more and they are the ones paying $50 a year for it.

 

This is normal for PSN to go down and it's not caused by hackers.

 

As long as you're not paying for an EA online service, just find something else to do until the server issues are worked out.

 

Just be thankful EA runs its server side better than Sony.

Hopefully this is another nail in the coffin for "always online", but these "always online" people have tenacity.
