Hi folks,

Probably a question that was asked many times but I couldnt find the answer I was looking for. Is it possible to create your own props to use with the lot editor? I know ofcourse this is possible but is it doable for people who don't have experience with batting or something? I like to make some things for my lot editing but hey don't exist yet.

To answer your question, it is indeed possible to create props, as long as you have the model done and exported as .sc4model (which I have no experience with). You will need to use the PIM-X. Open it, and under the "Standard Models" tab, find your model in the list (in orange, for example). Navigate the Descriptors tab until you find props, and then just drag that model onto the appropriate type/wealth you want. This will allow you to use that model as a prop in LE, or even in the lot editor in the PIMX. You can do the same thing for any other models - that is how I created my SuperMEGA Target lot: a few of the restaurants were modded as buildings, and since you can have only one 'building' item per lot, I changed the rest of them to act as props.

To create your own props from scratch you will need to use the BAT.  I suggest building them in batches, and has been recommended finish them with the PIM-X.
