I actually read that article just a short while ago. I use Firefox and it has the BBC news RSS feed so I check it out from time to time. Aside from the fact that today's weapons are more lethal, in today's era he probably wouldn't be allowed to go back into the front lines after losing an eye and a hand. Well, regardless of these, it's still incredible how he defied the odds of dying after getting injured so many times.
