Florence Valley

I terraformed this map for my Alpine region and I'm using it again here. It has valleys, hills and coastline to build on.

Wow, that region certainly looks beautiful. I think it would look brilliant covered in that patchwork of farms your starting in the southwest there, with a medium sized city in the middle. Great job!

I am working on the valley's main city, Florence, setting up the highways and other infastructure. I will begin adding farms soon with small towns and villages. The town in the southwestern corner (lower left) is left over from the previous region and I wanted to keep it.

I have a question though. In the process of building a downtown collage campus I inadvertently sprinkled some trees onto the playing field of the stadium (Rural Football Stadium). I can't demolish it now to get rid of the trees. I took it's file out of the plugin folder but I think it uses some stuff from the minor league stadium. Should I take that file out also?

Anyway, here is a shot of Florence and as you might notice, I'm still balancing the employment situation so some job jots are showing.

Wow, very nice region rewright. I like the mountains a lot. And Florence looks good so far. I'm looking forward to more pictures.

About the stadium, I have no clue. I also plop trees on the fields sometimes, but I get rid of them with demolishing the stadium and replop it... strange that this didn't work in your case. Anyway, I'm not sure if it's even possible to remove the Minor League Stadium from the Plugins folder, since it is a Maxis building...

I like the layout of the city since it has been revealed.Many many stores and shops seem on every corner.Great work with the interesting road layout aswell.

I love the region view.  very impressive and inspiring terraforming.  it must have taken a while to get it just right.

I love the landscape the lake and river are very realistic.I think the airport is perfect where you built it and the condo are some of the best around from what has been shown.Great job making this city grow and expand so naturally.

First of all a quick thanks for all the encouraging comments. I'm working on Florence Valley and Casa Grande together and so each time I switch  I have to delete and install the associated mods which takes time from what little I have for the game.

 

By the way, if anyone knows why the leters in the text box are being clipped I'd love to know. It's all a jpeg from an ms publisher page.
