Will Project Orion ever work properly?

By "properly" I mean will we ever be able to build outside of the original borders without manually plopping roads and buildings? If I'm correct, we have to manually plop down everything because we can't grow zones like we can in the original square.

Will it ever be possible to do what I am describing?

Zoning outside the border is possible if you have:

1. A regular road connected with a regional road that extends outside the original boundaries

2. A regional road that is drawn in the northern or eastern portions of the extended map

Just an uninteresting person that plays video games for your falsified amusement.

We're already fudging with the game by changing the variables relating to map size and function, and you expect all of the kinks will be worked out with a small modding workforce for the game? Nuh, uh. Nope.

Seriously, though; we would be able to expand the functionality if we had more resources, modders and developers in name. As of right now, we're more concerned with the quantity of mods which appear on the STEX.

It took 4 years for a NAM, and 1 for Orion, but it took 6 more years to perfect the NAM (with another 2 pending), so it will take another 2-4 to perfect Orion.

Yes, yes; I wish the 4K box was standardized as well, but what about the mods which were released because of that problem? They'll be defunct, and I don't like when that happens. :(

Theoretically, anything is possible, but it's just a matter of when. :)

What about the data maps that show pollution, water, land value, etc?

    Will that be fixed soon?
