Airport lots

Hello all,

 

I've been busy making airport lot with the lot editor. The only thing is that all lots appear in the park menu and they have the same name as the 1x1 grass tile, because that is the way I start making the lots. Is there a way I can change the title and description of those lots so I dont have to plom them all to see which one it is?

Hi there,

Sure, probably the easiest way to achieve this is using the LEProp.

It's a standalone app (requires no installation) and allows editing the properties of a lot. Basically this is a greatly simplified version of the Reader, with the main focus for modifying basic exemplar property values in a dedicated User Interface.

Basic Steps

1. Inside the tool, click "Open DAT" to select the lot file you wish to edit.
2. The overview of the properties will be shown in the main screen.
3. The title and description can be modified in the "Name" and "Desc" text boxes.
4. In addition, the menu icons, costs & effects can be changed. Clicking the icons on the right also reveals further options.

5. Once finished editing, click "Apply" and then: Save DAT
   This saves the changes made into the lot file (don't worry about it saying DAT file, it still saves in the original *.SC4Lot format).
