Hey everyone!

 

I want to try and get involved here a little more, and to start off, I want to ask you guys for advice. If you wanted to build a city like Hollywood, what do you think is the best way in doing that?

 

I want to place lots of studios, and I have found some on this site, I forget the name of them or the person who made them, but they were of Horror and a Wild West theme.

 

PS: I'm looking for amusement parks, would anyone know if there are any that can be downloaded? I think there was a Halloween Park in of one the older SimCity Games.

Well, if you are going to try to model part of Las Angles, it wouldn't be a bad thing to have a look at some of the Journals for ideas.  As for lots, your best bet is to search the STEX using the extended search or Google.

 

How do you plan to stop ordinary lots from growing in your private patch?

You can use block maxis mod which will literally stop maxis buildings from growing. As far as I am aware, most park packs are in SC4Devotion's LEX. You can also try there. :)

    Oh, no I don`t plan on stopping the private lots from growing lol. What I meant was, when I downloaded this one Mod, not of my lots were popping up. So I had to get rid of it, forget the name of it though.

     

    I will take a look at that other site, Jmsepe, I remember for one of the older SimCity games, there was a downloadable Halloween Park. It would be awesome if i can find one!

    I don't know if you've noticed, but on Walpurgisnacht the default graveyards have ghoulies and ghosties and things that go bump in the night.

    Check the download file to see if it's GROWABLE or PLOPPABLE. Ploppable lots will appear in your landmark folder.
