Plugins don't work and other issues.

I don't know if this counts as binary, but I have a conflict with two related plugins, namely morifari's Elevated Rail Embankment 3.0, and then MandelSoft's Embankment Re-lot for use with highways....

Both were installed correctly in my Plugins folder and yet neither appear in any of the transportation menus despite being plainly there in the folder. Any ideas or remedies? Or do I need to contact both the modders first? Thanks.

Are you sure you looked in the Rail menu. Both sets were there for me when I tried them.

Alright CaptCity, I just now was able to get back to the game. The embankment lots are there NOW... But here's something curious: yesterday, I was downloading some content from the STEX, installed them, and then when I tried to load the game as I usually do I got an error message claiming I've lost accessibility. Basically it was telling me that SimCity4 denied me access and doesn't exist. I eventually had to uninstall/reinstall. I checked the Railways menu just now and ALAS, there's the embankment lots. Along with other BATs I had forgotten I had installed a while ago. And the empty space surrounding an individual city tile or background is completely black, not the regular blue. This is so weird. Any thoughts?

You must have downloaded a mod that changed this. Look in the Plugins folder in the game residency (that is, the Program Files directory, not under Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins) and there should be several images that contain what the background grid looks like. If the images are different from the regular blue grid, then you have downloaded a mod that changed this.

Oh no, I've never downloaded any mods for the background. I'm having a difficult time enough trying to get this thing back up and running. Now I've got a new problem... Do you happen to have the BAT and nightlight patch for SC4 Deluxe?

Well never mind, I think I may have found the problem after cursing at my stupid self and the bulk of inanimate electronics in front of me. Attempting a test run now.
