Middle of the Thread Polls

I've seen this in various threads on the site.  So, I'm curious, how does a person go about creating a poll in a thread that is already started.  I've seen cases of threads that are several pages long with a poll smack dab in the middle of it, and the originating post didn't have a poll in it.  Anybody know how to do this?

The poll is already closed, but I distinctly remember participating in it.  Scroll down until you find the post that contains the words voting closed or something to that affect.

I think it was just a poll where the choices are written out in a post, and people send a PM with their vote. Once the poll was done, the choices would be removed, or the results would be placed in place of them. (I think that is how that happened)

You cannot add polls after a thread has been made. he made that himself, because it does not look like the traditional IdealBB polls. It is a limitation of the forum software we use that prevents that.

Actually, i dont think mods even have the ability to edit polls here, I know many places they can, but Ive never noticed it done here. IdealBB isnt the best forum software. Its really quite limited.

We need a junk section, for people to stick thread tests, dumb junk threads and polls like this into. With a forum this size, we should already have one.

That is defenitively not a normal Simtropolis poll.

Well, I seem to remember that it was a regular poll, but that was a while ago, and there is a distinct possibility that I am wrong.

No unfortunatley moderators can't edit polls and middle of the thread polls I am quite confident are not possible using idealbb. Perhaps something to ask idealbb to add in the future.
