Why does this building look like it's missing textures?

I can't upload the screenshot because its over 1MB, but what happens is that at certain zooms, one of my buildings looks at if the texture isn't there, with a blue background and little squares, and when I get closer, it just goes to total black. Any way to fix this? One of the buildings is the big St.Elizabeth hospital, and the other buildings that were required to use St. Elizabeth also have this issue. I should mention it isn't the whole building, but the little entrance plaza thing...

EDIT- Here is an example, I just posted in deviant art: http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/217/9/f/apollo_city_jul__20__131407263105_by_team_america-d7ttrax.png

Try converting the snapshot to .jpg format.  .png is a pain in the butt with Internet because they are simply too large.

Also, you have to upload your pix to a host site.  This one only allows a limited amount of data.

Thanks I've uploaded the screenshot to DeviantArt, I put the link in the comment :D

Any help with what to do would be great.. I remember another post with an answer saying to increase my graphics, and I think it's in mid-high right now, so I don't know if that'd help, I'll check it out though..

This seems like you might be missing the base texture because it looks like it's black all the way around the building. Take a look at the dependencies for the lot and make sure you have all of them.

Also, this could be a manifestation of the transparent base texture bug. This can happen for a couple different reasons: either because the area is not flat, or because you opened up a data view. Try plopping this lot on a completely flat place (put single road or rail tiles on every grid cell and then demolish them to flatten out an area big enough for the lot), and also, see if this problem is present immediately when you open the city and before going into a data view.

Those are just general suggestions. Could you please give me a link to where you downloaded this from? I searched "St. Elizabeth Hospital" here on the STEX and it didn't find anything, so it seems like you downloaded it from somewhere else.

I couldn't find a "St Elizabeth Hospital" either, using Google.  If it's from a big SC4 content site, your best bet is to download all 3 BSC mega texture packs, as they are some of the most common dependency files.

Also you can post an image using the "insert image" button (beneath smileys) in the post editor.  Copy and paste the direct image link into the box and it will appear for us without having to open a link.

Looks like it's one from the LBT hospital pack:

although, in there it is named Clinica Razzetti

The links to the dependencies seem to be broken. That might be why you're having no base texture showing up. You'll have to do a search on the STEX for the dependencies (what fun) since ST must have changed the URLs for everything on the STEX at some point in the past, breaking links to certain files. (especially older things like this)

EDIT: if you go to the third page of the comments, someone posted the fixed links to all three of the dependencies. Reading the comments section is always a good idea when you're having problems with a file. I should keep that in mind when people make posts saying they have a problem with a lot they downloaded.

Hello, thanks for replying, and sorry for not responding, something important had come up. I forget the name, but the hospital in the picture is a dependency for this huge hospital that covers a whole tile... anyway, I'll be downloading all the files you've suggested and flattening the land like you said. I'll post an update in a few! :D

Edit- here is the hospital that covers the large tile:

Sorry about misleading you guys, I always mistake it and call it st. Elizabeth, dunno why..
