Request for NWM

FLUPs for NWM networks were something I always wanted and so was NWM over RHW, so can they be added in the next NWM?

Will there also be wider NWM networks, like an AVE-8, AVE-10, AVE-12 or OWR-6?

The NWM is definitely getting some updates in the upcoming release. FLUPs pieces can work with any road networks; all you need are the sunken ramp models. Those take some especially tough modeling. FLUPs haven't really been worked on in years, so I wouldn't expect an update soon.

NWM viaducts are definitely in the long term plans. I'll tell you that's a huge project, but you'll have to wait for the teasers to see what's really going on with the NWM.

Wider networks would require triple tiles; I think their creation is something you'd still have to debate with the team.

To add to what my fellow NAMite said, the NWM viaducts are most likely to show up in NAM 34 or 35, after the NWM RULs are refactored, though that's subject to change.

There was a prototype of an AVE-8 and a TLA-9 at one point, and they were planned to be in NWM 2.0 originally (a number of files are still left in the NetworkWideningMod_TripleTile.dat file), but they're on hold indefinitely, and we have no idea at this point if they'll ever make it into the mod.  The main reason it's on hold is due to crosslinking, and its impact on controller size. You can kind of build an AVE-8 and an AVE-10 by using dual OWR-4s or 5s.  OWR-6 has been discussed, but isn't currently planned, and a true AVE-10 or AVE-12 would actually have to be a quadruple-tile network.

    Thanks for the reply.

I was just looking for some answers to my question.

Also, can I use the road flups to make a nwm flup?

The actual underground FLUPs pieces actually support a wide variety of transit networks--if you were to narrow down to a regular Road, OWR or Avenue to use the appropriate portal pieces, then you could go that route.  We haven't released any NWM portals yet, however.  There were a few NWM portal models in the pipeline awhile ago, though it's going to take a fair bit of configuration to get them to work--something that'll have to wait for a later NAM release.

That falls in the same category as viaducts. Often you can use RHW overpasses as workarounds though. Many NWM networks transition smoothly into RHW. For example, use RHW-6C for AVE-6 overpasses. Or RHW-6S for OWR-3.
