a little modding help

ok so i'm not up on all the modding stuff for SimCity

 

i'm looking to make a couple of small mods that will work with project orion,

 

I want to have bus and school bus stops that work outside of the original 2k box, but thus far no one has come up with them, so i'm keen to get involved and see if I can make it a reality..i really like BOC it doesn't adhere to the plop point policy and tends to mess up some of my files, as it is right now i'm redownloading all the updates..with great reluctance believe me...

 

so if anyone can tell me where to get started. I would be most greatful

You can already plop regular bus stops and whatnot outside the regular 2k box without BoC.

Umm no you can't. I have tried 3-4 times to do so and haven't been able to. So unless there is a mod thay I missed??? I get a red dot when I try to place a bus stop (must be in a valid position or something)

Well I can in the certain parts where you can zone and plop RCI outside the regular map, I believe that you can plop the regular and school bus stops.

I could not post the picture here, but there's your proof. And you can tell I have Project Orion installed because the map border goes off the edge of the region.

this proves my point, it only works if I drop them on the 2k border not in the 3k border

 

so  either you have something I don't..and that is highly likely or I have a problem

 

I've done a fresh install of SimCity and it's the same result

Make sure that you have the SimCity_Game.package file open when looking for the bus stops. Just type 'bus stop' in the search box and it should come up.

 

If you do not find it that way, here is the instance ID: 0xf2f6645e. Simply paste this ID in that same search box and it should come up .

ok I had a look see, after looking over your tutorials I was able to find what I needed

 

question is now where do I go from here. I want the bus stop to work outside of the 2k border,...
