Regarding Burger King and McDonalds Plopable (Avalon)

Those who trying to make them plop able, you can stop now. Since Oppie's Burger King and McDonalds replace the current buildings in commercial (Zone), in fact it does change those in Avalon as well (by Logic)

Bummer, but do not falter, this also opens a door to customized vanilla RCI to any buildings design you wish If you prefer to change the original RCI -  but some prefer adding new buildings rather than replace it.

The possibility to add new non vanilla RCI are still in trial and error process.

 

(Tho, after a while digging, I think its possible to add new RCI non related to the vanilla RCI)

but dont take my word for it, we sees it when the time comes.

Can we just add new RCI building into the base pool of the Vanilla RCI and then make it appear in AKAR instead of replacing existing RCI?

Another is take the former the Buildings if you don't have Burger King and McDonalds installed yet and rename them and they might show up back in Game. Also might copy all the other Commercial Buildings into another file and like rename the Fast Food Chicken Place into a KFC,Donut Shop into maybe Johnson Space Aged Donuts and then move back to simcity data folder and they would should up in Custom Content.

The Gas Station Burger King Picture Hess Gas Station name can be added to campy because it's colors are Green. In McDonalds Picture the Food Place to the Left if it could be turned into another McDinakds,Raising Caine's if you change the color and the Building to the right Best Buy or HHGREGG.

I understand what you're going for, that's why I added "Custom RCI" in the Custom Content. As banwasher asked above, we believe that it is possible yet need to invent it.

As I mentioned in another post

 

Its one thing basically to replace an RCI existing item and give it a new model vs creating stand alone objects that behave like the originals but exist as separate.

 

One side you get more control and the other side you can work online.

 

Both directions are needed in some cases but not all cases.. WHY so people have choices.

 

After the blue prints are done then it will be easier to create more stand alone items with new properties and references for other work not just static objects.

 

Each of these are milestones and hurdles that as a total need to be achieved but happen at different paces due to requirements and learning curves

 

so YES to everyone's question but with a HOWEVER it depends on what you want as your final result
