I need some help in moving through the process of what I need, and the "how-to." I'd like to take a look at Infamousjbe's Fire Realism Mod. Specifically, the Hot Summer file. I believe it's a .dat and I'd like to see if I can increase the length between flammability stages.

 

Any help is appreciated.

If you haven't already done so, you need to download iLive's Reader version 0.9.3.  This will allow you to open the SC4 files (.SC4Lot, .SC4.Desc, .SC4Model and .dat), see what is in them and make any changes.  Also, search the Omnibus for any articles on modify/creating SC4 files.

 

Make sure you make a backup of any files you intend to modify.  This way, if you mess something up, you can easily restore back to the original.
