Unable to upgade airport

Has anyone else encountered this problem, I think it may have somthing to do with one of the mods I have installed, however I have no idea which one or even if that is the cause of the problem.  When trying to upgrade it appears that the passenger and freight terminals are to big, there also is no snap points even the sign has no snap point, it used to work which makes me believe it may be caused by a mod?

Upgrade the airport? I am unsure of what you mean.

Cap Ton I mean I can not add extra passenger or freight terminals, it appears they are to big, I don't get any snap points not even for the sign, however I can add extra runways.  It used to work which makes me wonder could this be caused by one of the mods I may have installed,  most of my mods I downloaded from simtropolis and a few from Skye Stormes website

Ah yeah. Eventually, you will run out of snap points, I believe, unless you're plopping something on the road.

Actually I can not even add any in the first place there are no snap points to begin with it used to work and now it doesn't, and thanks for your replies and a love your mods mate

That's odd. The same thing has happened to me with the Elegant Casino.

That is interesting CapTon, do you have any possible suggestions to address the problem? Are you a programmer as you have posted allot of mods for SC2013 and the frequency and quality of your mods are excellent.  Just wondering as I have been told that there are no official moding tools  for SC2013 and wondering how to create mods as I also have been told it is quite difficult? I appreciate your feedback, cheers

Do the snap points not exist or are they all red?

If all red, rebuild airport after replacing roads that you build it on. A slight curve can bug it out.

I have similar problem. Can't figure out which Mod that cause this.

Same here. Stupid airport! But i can use BOC to place a module then snap points appear.

Well guys out of absolute frustration with being unable to solve the airport problem, I removed the game completely and reinstalled it.  

 

Tried it out with out the mods and everything worked as it should with the airport, so it is definitely one of the mods that caused the problem but as I had so many mods installed I still just have no idea which mod is causing it. 

 

At least there is a solution if you want to get it working, my guess at this stage is that it would seem most likely that a road mod is causing the problem but just a guess.

 

Regardless of the problem caused by a mod, I still use them and believe that the quality of the mods created by the moding community are of exceptional quality and out of 25 or more installed mods on my game, one little problem is not really that much to complain about.

 

If anybody does pinpoint the mod that causes the airport modules to no longer fit and remove all snap points, please post so we can get it fixed and continue to improve an already great game

Just noticed i had an older version of that mod from Skyestorme's website , but downloaded the version from your link and airport works fine now.

Woah, I too use the version from Skyestorme. I didn't noticed the different version. Thanks for the info. (re-install the mod)

Yayie, well done mate pinpointing the mod that must have taken a while and Beelzebub well done to you also as I now remember I also got that mod from skestormes website so I will replace it with the mod from simtropilis now I know it works with airport, I am going to inform Skye as well so others dont have to have this problem in the future, again well done guys for working this one out
