Hello,

I downloaded this

But I am having a hard time to use them and build a park.

Really don't understand which pieces to connect with whom...

Any help from anybody?

Thank you.

Edit:

OK, I came up with this.

1. Is it setup correctly? Are all the pieces connected correctly.

2. Is it looking nice & realistic ATM?

3. One prob with these sets are they are pure eye candy. Although they add beauty to a city, they waste a lot of space for nothing in return. Would have been better if they provided jobs to Sims and increased the HQ of a city.

Those sets are made so you can make whatever setup you like.

They also aren't completely useless as they increase the desirability in that area. Making it easier to get more wealthy sims and more high rises in said area.

Maybe check this article on desirability https://www.simtropolis.com/omnibus/_/simcity-4/reference/demand-desirability-and-abandonment-r31

Paeng has completely documented this park set.  Did you read his Online documentation?  He also posted a link to a help thread.

1. Yes. But I don't think those park-lots need electricity. Instead they consume a little amount of water.

2. I like it. But the game is for your pleasure. Some people like it fantastic, some people like it realistic. You can write your own story.

3. This isn't correct. They create demand. They have a good influence on the growth of residential and a little bit on commercial buildings. So it is no wasted space, because with some lovely paeng-parks in you city sims will move in. And they will feel good and give you good major ratings.

Yes I have read it numerous times. I was looking for like how to assemble those sets. His Documentations just gave some ideas of how the parks look.

Woo hoo, Thank you. That's what I wanted to know. Whether I am correct or not.

Also since they are functional, that's good also.

Have fun.  There usually is no set way to do anything with this kind of set.  Create a sandbox region if you don't have one and play around with them until you get what you want.
