4 lane-highways with the RHW

Hi,
at the moment i try to handle the RHW and need some help.
Is it possible to build a "real" 4 lane-highway with the RHW? Because i only found this RHW-4 with the wide grass strip (and no barriers) between the lanes. This type of highway is nearly not existing in germany and i think most parts of europe. The only realistic highways i found is the RHW-6C and for really dense urban areas the RHW-8C. But many highways still have four and not six or eight lanes. So i need a "RHW-4C" with only a narrow steel or concrete barrier between the two directions.
The next problem is that i don't know how to build acceleration and deceleration lanes for the RHW-6C. I only found a tutorial how to build it for the RHW-4. But again, i will not use this sort of "separated" highways.

The accel/decel lanes for the RHW-6C are made via a creative (and limited) use of the RHW-8C. Use ramp pieces and width transitions to complete the effect.

Because the C originally stood for compact and not separable, no RHW-4C will ever be made, as the footprint would be exactly the same. If you're feeling entrepreneurial, there are some outdated barrier mods on the STEX that were designed to add those missing barriers to the RHW-#S networks; ever since NAM 31 they've been obsolete but if you asked for some assistance I'm sure a NAM team member would be willing to help you update some of the files for personal use. (I would, but I am not a modder yet, mainly due to time constraints).

The only disadvantage with Project Symphony/Maxis Highway Override is that you can't really make Accel/Decel lanes, but at the moment it's your best bet for an instant solution without much extra effort required (unlike my previous suggestion).

Thanks very much for the tip with Project Symphony. At the moment i will use it. In high zoom it looks really good. But when zooming out and the view goes in the direction in which the highway is built the texture looks not so good/very strange because of bright white dots (euro texture). But maybe i will get used to it.

But i think i stop now concentrating on the RHW. It's unbelievable time consuming, endless problems. And i think i'm not entrepreneurial enough for the kind of work you are suggesting APSMS. ;)

And so i'm no longer trying to built good looking acceleration lanes, too. It must go without it.
