Yes, yes, yes... I know that it has been long time ago when I posted last update, but... Well, I had quite a lot to do - I finished my studies (actually, just one step in a long way...) got a Bachelor's Degree in political science and even received a Principal's distinction for my work in the field of specalization in international politics Probably he has closely observed how perfectly I manage all the things regarding Belleville's external relations

 

Now, do you know it's summer outside ???!!! So it's time to come to Belleville to enjoy the nice weather (not 40 degrees as in Continental Europe...) and its thrilling life. Well, I've showed already some places to stay in, but one of the best is certainly this one - Hotel Adlon

 

 

 

 

Just in front of La Madelaine, this hotel is like an oasis of tranquility, comfort and luxury in the very centre of Belleville

 

 

But I must warn you that it is recommended to make a reservation at least three weeks in advance, because this is really one of the favorite hotels in Pays-Beau. For more information call: +542 849 2518 7261 901

bienefeldt: Yeah, I know that there's a quite similar hotel in Berlin, but I must warn you that Kempinski chain of hotels using the same name for their hotel is just parasiting on the success story of the Adlon Hotel in Belleville But we are not going to sue them for it, business here is going real good, as you said

Well, here's a small update

 

If you're one of those lucky ones who are staying in the Hotel Adlon, then I can assure that the best place to have a cup of coffee is this small cafe near it - Cafe Adlon

 

 

Of course, you can chose the restaurant or piano bar inside the hotel, but I would recommend you this place, indeed. What can be better than to sit in this small and exquisite cafe, to enjoy its unique atmosphere, to read some morning newspaper... By the way, you can get them and various journals in the kiosque nearby, if you want some specific one. But otherwise you will find Belleville Daily, Le Monde, Le Figaro, IHT, Guardian, NY Times and other ones inside the cafe

Well Mayor Simbourgeios, I must say that Your city is very good looking... MAYBE A LITTLE TOO GOOD . I can see quite a few buildings built after drafts from my architectural office in the city. But, as I checked with my bank this very morning, there are no licensing fees paid by Your city, nor by the beloved inhabitants of Yours. This violates federal Sim Nation Law 345

I recieved Your letter concerning the legal concerns on this matter. My legal advisors has now thoroughly investigated this matter and they withhold the legacy of the paragraph in our federal law, in which such infrigment as mentioned are subject of public prosecution. However, a matter of this kind has not been processed in Sim Nations Surpreme Court since Brugesian times. An appeal would be a process of several years and not a tenable solution to this issue. I have therefore been advised to investigate the possibilities to set up a local office in Belleville to look after my interests, and at the same time hopefully have the opportunity of new business openings in the region around Belleville. Therefore, my humble question for You, mayor Simborgeous is if my company could set up an office in Belleville. This would give Your city yet anoter unique arcitectural highlight and provide Your citizens with high-quality architectural designs in all occuring building styles.

Hemingway has said that it is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them, and it is true, indeed. But it's worth to have not only a bicycle, but a good bicycle. Therefore I'll show you where you can get some great bicycles in Belleville

Made in France since 1930 (now a part of Cycleurope), Gitane offers you every kind of bicycles you could imagine. And we love them here in Belleville. Opened already in 1948, this shop is certainly the favorite one for many bellevillois. Still owned by the Bachelet family (you can see the current owner Jean Bachelet, aged 84, near his father, Francois Bachelet in a photo taken in the opening day of their shop), it imports only Gitane bicycles.
