Can someone please tell me if I need to register this or not? Last time on my other machine I don't remember having to have a registration code for it. Also, it said that it would send me one but it isn't asking for my email. It's asking for my address, phone number, and etc...

I got it from Turbosquid and my anti-virus program didn't detect any issues. So what am I doing wrong?

The site does not send you a registration code, it gives you one directly

Now I'm confused even more. What do you mean by it gives me one directly? So, if I just throw some fake information in there it will still give me a code? lol

Well that is the issue at hand. I can not open up the gmax program to select DirectX instead of OpenGL. *sigh* I just deleted it. I'll just go out an buy a 3D Modeling program if I plan on learning to do stuff like that.

I reinstalled gmax and now it says that my registration code is no longer valid!  >.<

Do I have to go to TurboSquid again and go through that whole rigamarole again (I still have my email, of course) or see if there's a small file in the old gmax settings that I could manually patch my copy with?

~ COMING SOON! Exciting new projects! ~
