He is thinking this attitude simple made Us silenced, but it's not.

I played Simcity by 5 hours and the first thing, after all the mess around and spread out enough, was the ridiculous map sizes. 

I did a topic with petition, closed by a moderator. EA don't want hear the players, and insist in keep blind upon the player community.

That's was a health petition. Its intent was show how much EA is failing to deliver what players want. 
Also, making simple algorithms can make it possible, and many other workarounds can be found, like splitting maps in regions. 

I really don't care about the Dev problems, muttering that it is very difficult, impossible, etc. I have my own personal problems too, and as a Master in Structural Civil Engineer, I never said to a costumer something like this. 

If EA is too lazy to make big maps, please, just make the things right so. 

My pedestrians, drivers, buses and trucks are stupids, like a dizzy cockroach.

Before this goes away, let me remark that petitions like this are utterly useless.  The program is what it is, and a bigger map won't work with glassbox.

 

People who write petitions have a very Pollyanna attitude towards how things work in any "democracy".  Petitions are for monarchies.

No need for another one of these. Please use the dedicated topics to discuss the size of city tiles:

Whether it's possible or not, Maxis have announced that bigger maps aren't coming. So that's it, end of story. Begging for it to happen won't change this fact.

 

Who knows what modders will be able to develop for the offline mode. For this only time will tell...
