It all started long ago when dinosours ruled the earth...  there was a small dinosur called a simosoris that layed its eggs on cliffs. One of the best places to lay its eggs was a butiful place with a large cliff... a place now known as OCEAN CITY. Over millions of years rain, wind, and the occasionl metor hitting the cliffs. The jaggad cliffs slowly transformed into the beautiful beaches of....Ocean City.                              (That odd story mde by A19.)

          years later sim realised that the beach would be a great place to build on a make a tourist destination so they created Ocean City

          The new mayor and city board quickly set to work creating a tourist destination. They created an Ave. now simply called Ocean Ave.They the quickly made many ocean side buildings, docks, beaches, and a pier. The area drew loads of people but prices gradually rised in the area because the hotell and dock owners wanted even more $$$ if you know what i mean 

        

           THe area was popular at fist but due to overpricing the area is now mosty unused but for some rich vacationers and local fishermen.

              After years of rapidly declining tourism the mayor held an emergency meeting that would decide the fate of Ocean City.

 After Just 8 Hours The city planning board and the mayor came out of the meeting room with a solid plan. The plan included one major change to Ocean City. THe change decided that instead of being soley a touris town the city would zone for samlls houses and business along and near Ocean ave.

Zones were quickly placed and now they waited...

 

 

Afyer a slow start in the industry sector...

 

Things quickly improved in the Ocean Ave. area

Houses and business flocked to the new sunny city. Utilitities were added like a dump and electric plant(2 pics. above) , and a new small train was station was built on the tracks that will hopfully be in the center of the expanding city in the future.

Because of the small businesses poping up and creating more relaxing feel to the area tourism quickly increased again and now a cruise ship is in port almost 3 times a week and more people are now staying at the 2 hotels next to the port (created by goldava in sc4.com) and local business is booming.

              Because of sevral complants about the lack of parks a large park has been built and will follow 3rd and 4th st as the city grows and will end at the city limits.

After a jump in both com. and res. demand new zones&neighborhoods were placed in the north side of the city.

 

After months of meetings and lots chinese take-out the city planning board has decided to makes a major road that will follow along the south coast and connect to the end of the world.

the new ave will be blandly named South Beach Rd.

The beach where the famous South Beach Diet was Made!

 This is where Ocean Ave. and South Beach Rd. will meet in the city.

 

 

Because of recent crime and fire problems, 3 fire and 3 poliece stations along with some new clinics hve been wisly place by the mator himself aginst the will of the city counols because of the costs. Because of the new stations tourism in the area has agin risen another 10% in wonderful Ocean City.

 

Things are quicklPccking up in the coastal city of Ocean City.

Industy is slowly but steadly icreasing despite small fires.

 

The city counsol has decided to create C St. in order to cope with increasing res Demand. and thing were quickly developed on the newest addition to The O C.

Also Things Filled in in the north side and the mayor has saidwithout me you would not existin a public speach to O C sims.

The City counsol is currently on vacation in St.Mrks and will not be in town a whil

    Recently the region has had a natoinal meeting about national security of timbuctu(N.S.T.)and they have decided to place a TAF(Timbucktu Air Force) Base and a TNA(Timbucktu National Army)base near the industrial sector.

 

 

Also A Massive Park Area has been made at the top of South Beach

 

 

 

to spur comm. devolpment in the area a water pump has bean placed for the commercial sector in downtown.

 

 Recently some sevral story buildings have been made in the Ocean Ave. and Midtown Park Area th th thats all for now folks!

Well start...I think you can make docks and ship ports and small islands with zones on them with small canal ways for boats.

Recently after complaints of R.R. niose a line of parks was put in by the pvg(public voluntier group) and today the mayor quoted The R.R. tracks look better than Ocean Ave.! and the city planning board is looking for ways to improve the overall status and population and is currently holding a public meeting for ideas and comments.         (that means you!) and also the parks have helped spur devolpoment of $$ housing and business! Soon the cousion of mayor A19 will be moving into the north side of town and will somehow will be recieving some major tax breaks... expect the cousin (bill) to move in as soon as next month with a comped moving service also...  Today the mayor has saidI did not give my cousion Bill any more conviences than i did to myself.

Bill has noow moved into the city of Ocean city and ins now a sales person at the stores right next dooor (on right in pic.) and he has already had time to complain the the city has no schools, jees what a winer he is!

 

Recently the city counsol has approved the contruction of D St. and so far work on d St. has gone past 1st and 2nd St. and the rest of D St. will be built in sections to ensure the over zoning will not ruin the city.

 

 

Because of the new water pump and medium zoning in downtown the city center is looking very nice after the demolition of lots of Kenner Dinner Theaters which have taken over the North Side commercial dictrict.

Today the mayor also saidI think the dinner theaters are trying to take over Ocean City! after that comment the army and Air Force destroyed most of the dinner theaters in down town but missed most of the ones in the North Side...

Here is the current downtown after the destruction of most of the dinner theaters there.

But the fight aginst the dinner theaters was uncucsessful in the North Side after thay came back after destruction the mayor sain Why can't there be a No Dinner Theater Ordinance? after words he went to his house and sobed after blowing ug up sevral mini model of the dinner theaters in his padded room.

 

 

On a lighter note 3 elmentatary school were built and kids were so happy (or sad) they came to school crying!

If you read this whole post a nice story will be at the end...

Anyways after weeks of dissucion the city counsol has finally decided that all city streest with no dead end will now be one way streets work has just finished and the mayor addmited it adds a nice touch but he also said those dang one-way roads make U-Drive it missions a pain in the A**!(also please don'nt report me to the FCC) he then jumped off the podium, and then ran into the woods to eat his private stash of bananas...

Also bill has moved into  new hom in the South Side right next to the paks that line the R.R. traks (you can see the palm trees in the park in corner.)see pic below.

 

 

Also a MASSIVE and mostly pointless highway and Ave. system has bean approved!!!! Also it will take effect on Jan. 1

 

and today is Jan 1st! HAPPY NEW YEARS OCEAN CITY!

 

So the constuuction begins..................build....................hammer................pour.....................overbudget..........aaaannnnd...DONE!!

NOW TO THE STORY FOR THOSE LUCKY FEW WHO STAYED!

Oce upon a time when Ocean City was a tiny rundown city (see top of cj) a cruise ship was on its madin voyage across the ocean and the piolet of the vessel was a youg lad named jillo but he had been an unlucky person he alyways lost his bets and never passed in any grad and etc. once he had gotten the cruise the Siana Mara in the hourbor he accadentally took 4 sleeping pills instead of his usual 4 anxiety pills. He had gotten the ship near the dock then he fell asleap in 2 seconds. He fell on the wheel and the ship started backing straight upto the dock at 20 knots(thats fast) and the ship slammed into the port and slowly cut right threw threw the building. Many people were missing and never found the poliece said the must have gone out to sea. The docks were fixed and the prices were paid and thestory was slowly forgotten. But every year on the anniversary of the crash people say they they they see what they called a....Ghost Ship. one sim in a helicopter managed to take this picture and then his helicopter crashed into the water for unknown reasons        Here is that picture...

yo acomodate for the demand of water the city counsol has approved the construction of water pipes that will give the whole city water and also the mayor said leave my bananas alone!

 

 

Now  because the stupid sims want jobs I have been forced to make all stuff between the R.R. tracks and Ocean Ave. Commercial zoning but the mayor saisnow i dont have to go accross the country to go shopping!

Things are really Starting to pick up in Downtown Ocean City! In the last year the sims of O.C. have started building up instead of out here is a very new picture of Downtown O.C.

Also O.C.C. (Ocean City College) has recently been created in a joint project with the new art musem in the middle of the residential portion of downtown.

Hmmm, I almost thought this was a SC4 vanilla CJ but then I noticed you had a couple Goldiva BATs. I remember when I used to get that many dinner theaters - fond memories! I must have downloaded some lot or BAT that has taken their place in my cities. But I never thought of blowing them up with the army or airforce though.

recenetly health problems have been plauginging the city worse than the plauge so on top of the 3 clinics 2 more clinics along with a major hospital and a new large elementary school and police station have been built.
