Hi all Simtropolis goers! Just wanted to say thanks for the great service, and insperations from all. This is my first CJ and I hope all goes well. Please all ideas are welcomed. I know that I have a problem with gridding all of my zones, Im trying to break this habit after all of the CJ's I have been looking through. I have gotten so many ideas and strategies from the users here I probabley forgot about half. So for this I thank everyone.

First Shot:
     This is a section of my region SimNation II (from sc4ever) and my plans for this first area of the region....  I tried to follow the standard simcity color schemes for this planning stage.

Heres a shot of Bulloch County this would be the far northeastern county in the region. This is mostly a mountain more rural town, that consists of 2 highways meeting in order to provide a small amount of farming to the region.

While thats developing I started on another county in the region moving west to St. Marks County, another rural small farming county. More to come in this county....
<ahttp://img451.imageshack.us/img451/4924/region0032vp.jpg align=baseline>

Still alot more to come in this county, but I wanted to show you the more intresting mountain area I developed using a lot of PEG stuff...

And a closer look at the campgrounds in St. Marks National Park
<ahttp://img458.imageshack.us/img458/5116/region0066va.jpg align=baseline>

Alot more still to come as these few starter counties start to develop a little more. Hope you guys like it any questions a comments are welcomed!!!

Look for more updates daily as I build this region into a growing, thriving meteropolis

This is beautiful so far. I've always wanted to do a 'nation', but my computer and patience couldn't handle it.

Keep up the good work.

    Here is an updated photo of the St. Marks County (Sorry about the night shot, didn't even notice when I snapped it.....

    Im glad to see that you guys are all liking it so far... Here is the next county in my great nation.

    Synder county is located south of Bulloch county here is an overview of what I have done here.

    <ahttp://img105.imageshack.us/img105/936/region0016ra.jpg align=baseline>

    Starting from the northeast, here is a shot of some small development going on.
    <ahttp://img105.imageshack.us/img105/9122/region0025kh.jpg align=baseline>

    Here is a shot near the center of the interchange between the highways, still heavily wooded, and trying to fight with the heavy pollution that the dirty industrail is producing
    <ahttp://img105.imageshack.us/img105/5584/region0031il.jpg align=baseline>

    This is the suburb located to the western part of the county. With a centeralized business district, with some solid development going on.
    More of a grid type pattern going on here.
    <ahttp://img105.imageshack.us/img105/5717/region0049fq.jpg align=baseline>

    And finially, some high-tech development starting in the county as kids start attending the sim state university located in the county. Of course they take the higher land values near the ocean front. I decided to stray way from the port area I was planning in thie area due to the lack of coastal space that I had.
    So I simply went with some sea retaining walls.
    <ahttp://img341.imageshack.us/img341/9217/region0056wg.jpg align=baseline>

    Hope you guys like Snyder county... Next to follow will be some more planning shots as I move across this large nation, and begin development of Ike county to the east, and a county to be named in the south. As always comments, suggestions, and question taken with open arms.
