Uninstall terrain mod

I was playing around and loaded some terrain mods into my game which my system does not like. I only get a few minutes of game play before the game crashed. Where are these things stored so I can delete them and go back to the original terrain? I've re-installed the game but obviously these things stick around. Thanks.

Or not having cleaned up previous stuff or having more than one active tree mod.

Or by copying some stuff somewhere and not having a very clear idea of what you are doing. :P Seriosuly, terrain mods are rather complex and can cause crashes, as you know now. That's why you should be especially careful with them.

A re-install of the game will typically leave all your saved cities and your plugins untouched because all of these were added at a later point and not installed with the game. That's why a reinstall didn't help.

I'm now scared of terrain mods haha. I pretty much was going on a spree to add new things into the game and really can't remember if I tried more than one terrain mod. I pretty much erased everything and will put things back one by one to make sure everything works instead of going crazy again. Thanks everybody.
