Help!My Citizen won't drive car!

I build a new region in my simcity and put a lot of mods,i started to build residentals and comercials on the city. I put bus stops between the residental and commercial. All of the citizen use the bus and the road is full of buses and there aren't any car. I won't make the road unrealistic with it, so i demolish the bus stops and the citizens won't work! I do a test at a new city (the littlest one) and put residentals and comercial a little far and i don't build bus stops. Then, all of the citizen goes to work on foot and ther aren't car traffic!! I use the the traffic configuration tool and it doesn't work!!! Please help me, thanks!

As a test, try renaming your Plugins folder to Plugins.old.  Start the game, open a new city and build it with some R$ and C$ buildings separated from each other by a short stretch of road.  If you now get car traffic, that means you have a plugin problem.

 

Players who load of many plugins without testing as they go often suffer from this syndrome.

 

What is the build version of your game?  If it is less than 1,1,638 you are not eligible to use custom content from here except a very few old ones.  You  should use the Network Addon Mod to fix the transportation network errors in any case (requires at least 1,1,638).

My game version is 1,1,638, but my nam still beta ( don't have time to download) is it because my nam?

NAM will always be in beta. Since the community in gneral is always adding onto and improving it, there will never be a final version of the NAM

However, I assume you have NAM 32-pr1.  Now, did you do the test with only fixes and the NAM in your new Plugins folder with the others held out elsewhere?  If so, what happened?

Yes you're right. I do the test and there are car traffic. But what plugin possibly make this error? Thanks!

I suspect either a mod that alters traffic congestion or something (if those even exist).

But, I'm pretty sure its a mod that concerns traffic & whatnot. It might not be helpful but, can you list any mods you downloaded that concern traffic?

I eliminated the mods folder and i found the problem folder is the NAM folder. I think it's weird, so i re-install my old NAM(it's the 12.24 version ) but after i re-install that old NAM, i don't get the problem again! (It's very very weird) btw, thanks all!

If you expect to get any support for the NAM you should load version 31.2 (stable release) or 32-pr1 (beta).  I don't have this happening and I seriously doubt it is the NAM's fault unless you've loaded a very strange setup indeed.
