Requests from a Brooklynite...

I'm a Brooklynite firstly, and a New Yorker secondly, and I see that Brooklyn is pretty unrepresented as far as custom buildings are concerned. As I'm just a player of SC4 and don't have the know how or skills or time or patience (lol) to learn to create custom buildings, I have some requests of buildings/places in Brooklyn that I haven't seen on the exchange. Here are some of my requests:

1. The Barclays Center-the home of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, numerous concerts and other events, and will also become the home of 

    the NHL's New York Islanders team for the 2014-2015 season. It's very unique architecturally compared to most arenas, so it would

    be a pretty big task to create it for SC4, but it would help me represent my borough a lot better in the game.

2. The Williamsburg Savings Bank Building-until maybe a couple years ago, this building in Downtown Brooklyn was the borough's tallest

    for many decades (until a tacky glass and steel luxury condo building went up for rich yuppies who are destroying Brooklyn, sorry, 

    starting to rant). Sitting only blocks away from the Barclays Center in Downtown Brooklyn/Fort Greene/Prospect Heights area, this 

    authenticate Brooklyn's skyline.

3. The Brooklyn Museum-located on Eastern Parkway across from the NE section of Prospect Park, this museum is huge and I always

    like walking past it when I'm in that area.

4. Brooklyn Borough Hall-for those of you that don't live in NYC, each borough has their own 'city hall', except it's called a 'borough hall'.

    All the boroughs have one, except Manhattan's is called 'city hall' because the mayor of the whole City of New York works there, in 

    addition to the borough president

5. Grand Army Plaza-at the northern end of Prospect Park, this big plaza with the iconic (in my opinion for Brooklyn at least) Soldiers

    and Sailors Memorial Arch definitely needs to be created.

6. The Boathouse at Prospect Park-it's nice, too lazy to type more, Google it.

 

These are just some requests, I'll have more in the future, just thought some of you creative, skilled builders wouldn't mind taking on some new buildings. There is a SC4 BAT - Open discussion thread in the forums that you can post your building requests in.  There are many excellent BATters that can make your requests into virtual reality.  The New York BAT Team (NYBT) may be the most interested in taking your requests.  Good luck and hope to see your suggestions on the STEX soon.
