Growable Lots?

In playing this game, obviously with a lot of mods, you get some growable lots. I was hoping for more randomness, but it seems when I zone commercial lots, the Chuck E Cheese growable pops up...in some cases...I have  2 or 3 right next to each other. I will bulldoze them, but they pop right back up no matter how many times I bulldoze them. I suppose I could just remove the growable folder, but is there another alternative to this?

Thanks

Deleting the Growable files from your plugins folders is possibly the only way to prevent that. Of course, another way is to just let them upgrade and construct new buildings.

Another way is that you could assign the buildings to a certain tile set so when you want custom buildings to grow, you can just click that tile set.

SimCity 4, it's not a game; it's a work of art.

Yeah - be patient ;-)

Sooner or later these lots will be upgraded by higher wealth or larger ones... let them sit for a while, start bulldozing at a later point - you might get different buildings then.

Also, add more growable items (custom content) to your plugins, for more variety (for small COM I recommend the series by MadHatter, loads of variety). Choose items with different footprints and zone accordingly - don't zone all 1x2 ;-)

Cheddar's tip is also good... and don't forget to start making things 'historical', once you got something different to grow...

Is it SimGoober's Chuck E. Cheese? They are 3x3,3x4,3x5 CS$ stage 3 lots. Original game doesn't have CS$ stage 3 that size. Maximum is 2x2 lot. That's why it grows so much. So, like paeng mentioned, add more growable custom contents (of the same type) for more variety.
