Treecontroller GodMod Moonshine

Hi,

At the moment I have the Italia Terrain Mod and CPT-No7a_Italia River_TreeController.

So when I´m using it in God Mod I get these small package of buildings that appear at a certain height. Buildings like a small wooden house or the title related moonshine distillery.

(I dont see them in the Mayor Mod Tree List.)

Sure they look nice, but having next to the mountains top an uncountable number of small dark brown house may a bit to much alcohol for the whole city.

I had the same problem with the Californian Terrain Mod as well.

So my question is, does anyone knows how to get rid of them? Or is in my plugin just one treepack that I should remove?

Thank you so much!!

Go back to the download pages for your mods and check to make sure you have all the dependencies.  If not, you'll have to download them and add them to your plugins.

This is actually a known problem - there is a compatibility issue with the Peg 'Forest Stuff' MMP and many tree controllers (mostly C.P. controllers).

I was able to fix the issue - you can read about what I did in this post here.  It requires a little experience with the iLives Reader program.

If you don't know how to use that program, I can try and walk you through the steps.

My experience with this is with the SPAM Crop MMPs. If I don't have the correct "resource" file in my dependencies, the Barley crop will actually place down a midsize R$$$ building instead.

Rather interesting being able to "paint" a Residential building. I assume it has to do with sharing a similar IID file or something like that the resource file overrides.

You'll want to always make sure you have all the correct dependencies to avoid these silly hiccups.

Thanks for your incredibly fast answers.

I´m sure that my dependencies are where they belong.

I'll try the post that SimCoug mentioned. It's look like that it describes my problem indeed.

I made it quite simple and erased the "PEG-MTP_MM5-ForestStuff_MOD_100"

    Now everything is fine!!!!

    Much obliged!!

Note that this didn't fix the actual problem. The blocker that prevents props to appear is still absent from your game and other displaced props may appear to your region.

It's best to use tested tree controller, or follow SimCoug's link, to permanently remove this problem from your game.
