Don't be fooled by the word 'alleged'.  This is necessary with any issue that is sub judice.

 

The LEO people say this was three pressure cooker bombs planted around the celebration for Canada Day around the B.C. Legislature in Victoria.  Photos of the bombs are in the article.

 

The information to build these is on the Internet.  Can something be done to block it?  Probably not.  Besides, the cat is already thoroughly out of the bag.

 

For openers, this pair should be shown the 'instruments'.  If found guilty, three terror related charges apiece should keep them uncomfortably ensconced for the rest of their lives, or at least long enough for the Jihadi culture to change.  Who knows where things will be in 20 years?

Why would Al-Qaeda want to attack Canada? I haven't heard of any Canadian troops in the Middle East or Afghanistan, so what gives?

You are not very up on world news if you missed the fact that Timmy's had a branch in the Canadian canteen at Kandahar.  We've closed it and left now because we've finished that mission.  Hard lines on the Timmy-addicts amount the other troops still there.

 

Al Qaeda did not attack Canada other than by radical propaganda on the Internet.  These creeps are home grown, and the guy has a sheet as long as your arm.  He managed to not do well, again.  He can be charged as a dangerous offender and kept until he dies.

 

Those unbelievers had better watch it.  The beavers will chew down their tree and the frogs will spit on them.  We have some ideologues here that makes them look like rank amateurs.

I've nowt against Canada and everything against terrorism and madmen so naturally I hope this Jihadist is destroyed. There is no excuse, ideological nor religious, for this sort of attempt. Even if you believe in holy war, this is not holy nor a war.

Wow. Two perfectly ordinary people... guitars for goodness sake... and BAM they become Al Qaeda inspired terrorism attempters? What is this world coming to...
