I love GTA the driving, the killing, the missions, and plus everyting in GTA:SA, but what more do we need?42.gif

Here is a sort list of what I would like to see in the next game:

Choosing Gang name, colors, weapons, and cars.
Definitly more cars, bikes, planes, boats.
Before some one goes krazy over here32.gif, Being able to change tracks on the train and also make the train as long or as short as you want.
Being able to destroy the world like in Mersinaries it will rebuild after a certain amount of days in the game.
Being able to transport Cars and bikes on the train and the car carrier with out falling off.
Some type of Co-op mode like in other games.
I would like to control the turent on the tank (like in Vice City) and it should have a machine gun.
More car bomb shops and also I would like to choose how big the explosion would be by choosing different explosives.11.gif
Being able to save any vehicle in the game somewhere.
Being able to make your own character.

Thats all for now so please post anything you want to see in the next game and I'll add it to the list as soon as I can.44.gif

Ok,  I thought there was co-op in GTA,  and you can park the cars in the garages at the houses you've bought and it will keep them there for you.  They've done the 90's,  the 80's and I believe GTA3 was set in like 2001 or something,  so the next obvious decade to tackle is obviously the 70's.  I think driving those big 70's cars with a fro and some polyster on would be great!  And the soundtrack would put the game right over the top. 10.gif

what i ment by Being able to save any vehicle in the game somewhere. is boats and planes and BIG cars

What you are thinking of as co-op mode is the two player mode, but what i ment was that you and a friend can beat the game together like in other games.

Actually, GTA:III was set in the 70's. Its a depiction of a slumy, crime filled New York City (aka: Liberty city.).

I belive the next might be late 90's, early 00's. Probably set in Washington D.C, Philly, Baltimore. Or possibly the great lakes region.

GTA III did not take place in the 70's. If anything, it was a pseudo-70's type of thing. THe commercials on the radio stations were a dead giveway. The Pogo the Monkey video game commercial gave a website. There were also Maibatsu Monstrosity commercials, referencing the late 90's SUV craze.

I'd agree that the next one will take place in a Great Lakes city. Probably in the 70's, when a lot of the industry collapsed in the area's cities. Duluth in the winter would be fun, especially on the hills.

Hey it would be weird if they made a GTA set in Philly.  That would be a little to surreal for me.  I live in New Jersey,  about 10 minutes across the river from Philly.

online play , a big city , and that you could create a gang with your friens , and play against other gangs online...

ya great idea but you see right now i use GTA on my pc sometimes and theres something called multi theft auto which you can download, just google it, to have online play and it isnt that great yea you can have deathmatches and stunt games if i remember correctly. Now with GTA SA there is a big problem i dont know if they are done with it but because of the different cloths and car customizations they have to lock things out so that it can have smooth gameplay with up to i think its 20 people or 32 im not sure but you see the problem. Plus every one has differnt hardware and software.

Online would be nice though for the console for like some type gang war mode with up to 6 players in 5 different gangs so up to 30 people a game that might be alot but we will never know.

there should be flight missions if you know what i mean3.giftaking people from one city to another!
Bigger distances from one city to another would be really cool!2.gif

One last crazy is when activating vigilante missions other police units should help you. Roadblocks, helicopters etc.

Bigger variety of cars, planes, trains, bikes and boats would make the game better!
And i think the cars' names should be the known ones like BMW, Mersentes, Ferrari etc.

    Hope i didn't overload it!3.gif

They can't use the known car names because the car companies would never give a game like GTA the lisence to use their names.  And I like that most of the cars look and sound pretty much like real cars anyway.

The FCR-900 was really fast(bike) and the most good looking car that i loved was Sentinel.

But i have a question:i have only once flied the Police Helicopter(after the casino robbery for those who have finished it) but now i can't find it!!42.gif

    can someone help here?

Well first of i need to why do you love the killing in gta? what is wrong with you? Anyway, as all of you seem to know absolutely nothing about the gta games that came before the gta3 trilogy, then i will explain. In gta you started in liberty city, and then progressed onto vice city and finally san andreas, which was NOT a state before. Liberty City was basically a rip off of NYC, the map being basically the same, vice was a more inventive version of miami, and san andreas was loosely based on san francisco. The name Tommy Vercetti in VC came from the 'vercetti family' in gta, and so did the radio station 'head radio'. 2 years later in 1999 gta london was released as an expansion pack for gta, and was set in the year 1969. The same year gta2 came out, set in the future, it brought in gangs and gang territorys, and a ton of new weapons. It proved to be less popular, as it was set in the future. Then in 2001, gta made a massive jump to 3D, set in liberty city, and in 2001 or then the present day like gta1. Building on the success the brilliant VC came out, which is my favourate gta. Then crappy san andreas came out, only big because it had tons of hipe from the best gta game. In my opinion gta is a mafia game, (like one of the people at rockstar said) so it was a bit strange to be in gangland LA. What i would like to see in the next gta? All three cities, but realistically sized, not a village with tall buildings. No more crap rip offs of US cities, new cities, set in the same places as before but reinvented, complete new and made up. San Andreas would have to be at least 20 times the size to be realistic, with a realistic mountains, i would also love to oblitarate las venturas off the map, its just a moronic clone like all the other san andreas cities, at least LC and VC were quite inventive.  Because if they are just clones of real cities, why not just set gta in those real cities? I know how i would design them. Also i would like to see proper licensed cars, real clothes and food chains, etc. the companies would probably allow this because of the massive amount of people that play the game. If it were my choice the next gta would be set in 1986 again, it just felt 'nice' for some reason, with a great atmosphere unlike SA. SA just felt fake for some reason. I would like to see it set over 2 years from 86 to 87, with proper seasons and weather patterns, snow on the mountains and stuff, and it should centralise on the mafia, like VC and LC. Perhaps the next gta will be in london, maybe, or with all 3 cities. it would be completely rediculous to set it anywhere else than the other cities IMO. That would really ruin it.

I just love killing helps my First Person Shooter skills somewhat on the PC version

I know all about the first 3 games for PS they were good and they opened the doors for todays GTA and I think most people know where first the areas were set

The only thing holding back size of the map is disk space but now with blueray they have a little over 5 times that now. So lets do the math SA is 5x the VC map and thats was done only because they used a dual layer DVD so lets see with the biggest blueray disk the map can be at least be maybe between 9 and 10 times bigger now i could be wrong but thats if they use around 5GB for textures, wireframes, and whatever else they need to make the game work plus all of the item and car coding

Also for the licensed cars, real clothes and food chains, and what not ya that would be good because the game price might be lower from the money Rock Star is getting for these ads but you got to remember the comp. that are making ads for the game have to dish out mad money so dont be surprised that prices wont go up there is a balancing act to this type of thing

how about a loop in the game that goes through the seasons and y should it centralise on one gang or group of people. The differnt gangs that u work for or fight are what make the game somewhat real just centralise on 1 group would make the game less realistic

Well what every city they base it on better be a good one I dont want to be in an area i never herd of or in the middle of nowhere

37.gifLet me go off topic for one moment and say if they started selling games on HardDrives the size of a regular CD case with something like 400GB of space (ya it might be far off into the future but just think about it) With an EXACT scale map of NYC 5 boroughs and part of NJ from the George Washington Bridge down to the Bayone Bridge Then have LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Miami let me just throw in London. All with ther airports so you can travel between citys, for the US citys train stations that take you between citys, and lastly a port to travel by boat between NYC, Miami, and London.

I'd love to see a GTA: Futuropolis

Insanely tall buildings, slums below with high wealth up above.

Ground cars available in the poor areas and flying cars in the wealthy spots

    Futuristic weapons

    Holographic advertisements littered around.

    Utltra-mega road and highway networks.

    etc.

There are a LOT of really good movies and literature that Rockstar can get inspiration from, and it could be a true futuristic city and not some utopian crap.  It's just something I'd like to see done.5.gif

    Awwwww... reasons why not?

In some ways I think of it as a natural evolution of the series.  They've already gone back in time about 20 years.  I'm not thinking going forward hundreds of years, just a few decades.  I personally think there's a lot of potential for it.  Is it simply too big a change for the series, or is there some other reason that it wouldn't be liked?

the only thing is people like to see certain cities in the game

I always had this big idea to bring Simcity and GTA together u know like make your own city the way you want and make a region any size you want but people dont like that idea i dont know y but people like to stick to citys that are based on real citys mostly major ones
