Checking on what city hall upgrades are unused.

Is there a way (other than going through each menu) to see what upgrades other city halls in the region have already been built? 

 

This should be built into the city hall snap-on menu (Such as "You can build a Department of Utilities, but there is already one in Cityville"), but I haven't yet noticed anything like it.

Good suggestion.  I usually plan my region or individual city by sketching on paper.  I always keep a piece of paper/pen next to my computer.  Just write it down!

That's a very reasonable way of checking. 

 

In terms of game design, but the current system doesn't do you much good in multiplayer when you've joined a region in-progress.

Other than going by menu, you are alerted at the top when starting a city what's been built with City Hall and the University.  That's about it.

 

It's a good suggestion.  I've plopped upgrades I didn't need to and most(all?) of the time when I go to bulldoze it and pick a different one, I can't and have to replop the one I didn't need. Maybe a region symbol tagged onto the upgrade module to show the player it has been played.
