Is there a large subway station or terminal?

I'm new here and I'm not sure if this is the right section. If not sorry. 

 

But I have a question, I was looking at STEX and couldn't find a large subway station like Grand Central Terminal in NYC that also serves as a bus station. However I'm not really interested in one containing rail (since they drop off in use after I build a subway). I saw one in the exchange called Grand Central Terminal but it doesn't seem to work well. I get a brown box.

Yeah you need the Maxis Grand Central Station for that. 

 

Myself, I recommend Trier Station by Jasoncw (I think). It's a pretty good example of brutalist architecture.

On that same note, I've been playing sc for quite done time now and have never gotten the grand central station. Without cheats how does one get it?

You need to have your stations at 4000 % of their capacity  

Probably the reason you didn't see it yet...

If one wish to use the GC station there's a fix for it:

You can see the requirements to get the grand central station by hovering over it in your reward menu.  I think if I recall right, that you have to have at least one train station at or near it's maximum capacity in that city.

 

I am not so sure but you may not even be able to unlock it now or at least it is now more difficult maybe.  They just upped the amount of passengers for each rail station with the new NAM.  They didn't raise the capacity by a lot, the raised the maximum capacities by a mother kitten(PG) LOT.  Like almost 20 times as much if I remember right...

There is a caveat in the ReadMe.txt file.  Did you read and understand that? 

 

The *.png files and the .txt file are documentation and should not be in the plugins folder.  The Maxis terminal mentioned is a default, so unless you've removed it, it should be there.  The only possibility is that there is something amiss in the .dat file.

I did install them properly and its still a brown box. I pretty much given up on that lot and currently seeking another large station.
