Before I started this thread I've done research and found nothing specific to my issue. I've been playing for 6 months now and this has never happened before. When I start a new city, and it reaches about 3-5k I get no job zots everywhere. I build another city and connect it, with jobs, but it seems that doesn't work. What makes it worse is that demand for commercial is negative, so I build industrial and agriculture but that does nothing. No one goes to them, I makes taxes lower, build and efficient mass transportation (I have NAM too). I even had some of the city ordinances like tourism and the like to boost the RCI. But nothing, the residential demand is very high but everything else is not. What happens is that houses get abandoned and they just refill its an annoying cycle and the game is unplayable at this point. I have done everything like build parks, schools and libraries, police stations and a great transport system. If there's one thing I'm good at its building a good road system. I deleted and reinstalled the game and same issue.

I like the way EL looks in more poorer areas of my cities. Gives it a gritty feel, and reminds me of some parts of NYC. However, I prefer subway more.

I have NAM and all, and for some reason I can't master the passenger railway system. I've used monorail, subway/el train, bus, and they all work perfectly well. But I can't recuperate the cost of them until way later. So they are expensive early on, especially monorail. For some reason industry uses rail a lot, but I can never get commuters to use it. Is there a way to build them effectively that commuters will use them?

I did install them properly and its still a brown box. I pretty much given up on that lot and currently seeking another large station.

I'm new here and I'm not sure if this is the right section. If not sorry. But I have a question, I was looking at STEX and couldn't find a large subway station like Grand Central Terminal in NYC that also serves as a bus station. However I'm not really interested in one containing rail (since they drop off in use after I build a subway). I saw one in the exchange called Grand Central Terminal but it doesn't seem to work well. I get a brown box.
