i was wondering how you manage to make the slope so perfect, what techiques do you use? or is there a mod that does that?  i would appreciate it if you told me

...I'm quite sure about how it's created. If you look at the point where the retaining wall starts, you can see a slight color change in the dirt texture. That means it is a custom lot. Just make it look like a section of railway, change slope settings, check orientation and TE it. Should do the trick. And yes, it looks amazing...

Then, I just realized I've never posted in here. I love Rodina, it feels so real. The atmosphere really fits the communist style. Hopefully it hasn't died... Gah, I really should post more in CJs, the authors are always complaining about lack of comments. And that's because of lurkers, like me... Don't say this has ended, Sepsis! Well, probably not.

 Yep, Zed is absolutely correct.

 I use custom TE lots (different sizes, but mostly 1x12, 2x12) and a slope mod.

I've lurked around your CJ here for too long of a time. I've gotten lots of ideas from your military bases and airforce bases. Your work is really inspiring, thanks for sharing. I agree with the others, your cities really have a communist feel to them, not sure exactly what it is, but it's there. I've always liked how you make custom lots for pretty much every major building you show in your updates. Just the small details like missles up above the tanks, and the little Rodina flags on the lots are great.

This is a really nice CJ, your design is fantastic, and your cities look beautiful.

You have so many beautiful custom lots which fit so perfectly in your cities. And your railways look brilliant! I just love what you've down with this CJ!

You could even release those custom rail lots onto the STEX, because I know I would fins them very handy.
