Hey everybody, I have recently tried to download the Reliant Stadium BAT () but I have no idea how to get it all into one file. I use Winrar and basically just drag the downloaded files into the Plugin page.

Any help will be appreciated very much. Thanks so much!

I can't figure it out either :(  I could use some help as well...I know it's 3 different parts you have to download then it says to put all 3 parts in ONE folder inside your plugin folders but part 2 & part 3 comes up as unreadable plus it won't allow me to copy or drag it into the main folder from part 1...am I doing something wrong?

I have the same issue, although this should be moved to the STEX forums.

Contact the creator of the BAT. Nthat's your best bet

when u download the files u have to put all files into one folder first. then use winrar to extract the first file, the other two files will automatically be included in the extract.

Unfortunately, you have to use the Winrar program itself for this. None of the other programs that can normally extract rar files can stitch together partial rar files.

That's nice.  Winrar is not available on Linux.  You really should be thinking about some other way.  How would you like it if I loaded out a *.tar.gz.  *.zip is the STEX standard for obvious reasons.  I could probably get this lot to extract since I have a lot of software, but I am not going to bother.

Not sure who you mean with the "you" in your post. And good luck with your approach. Winrar first compresses all files, makes a new one out of this and then splits the whole compressed file into pieces that cut some original files into pieces as well. That may come in handy from time to time, but I agree, it's not distribution-friendly.

I only know this because I had to install Winrar two or three times already to deal with partial files like in this example.

A tar.gz file doesn't faze me, btw. Most standard Windows compression programs can deal with those. Partial rar files are a special case.

Sometimes I use a personal pronoun when I should have said "one".  Read "one" for "you" and you'll get it.

BTW, Linux quite happily unpacks .rar files automatically using the right click file menu.  However, the standard is .zip and everyone should try and stick to it.  Cascading .rar files are all very well, but if a lot is that big, I am not sure I want to give it space.  Sounds like the poly budget might be a little high.
