hi boy, i have a problem with mod buidling. the buildings that you see them downloaded right?? or there are certain "smooth" or is a "box" with written simcity.com.
any solution?

You're missing files called dependencies. Most of downloadable content have dependencies, usually you get the link in the readme or in the descripton. Occasionally for older files you need bldgprop vol 1 & 2 by Maxis. You can get them at SC4 devotion on the EA support page.

Magneto already answered your question.  You are seeing those boxes because you need dependencies (aka prop packs, texture packs, etc.).  You have now indicated that you're seeing the boxes on a pegasus seaport and broadway cruise terminal.  Each of those downloads would have come with documentation (aka readme files) telling you which 'dependencies' you need to download and place in your plugins folder separately.  Typically 'dependencies' are never included in the main download so that people don't start acquiring multiple copies of the same 'prop pack' for example.  Dependencies can be shared by all lots that require an item contained within.  You are going to have to find the documents for those downloads and read them.

Not to forget, you need to have SimCIty 4 Deluxe or the Rush Hour expansion to use all but a few downloads. 'Vanilla' SC4 won't work.

I have deluxe edition... but thanks I solved it. another thing I would like to download this Factory Lokomotiv but I do not find all dependencies, only the first 5 from sc4devolution. can someone give me the site where you can download the other?

Glad you solved it!  Now you know all about dependencies, you'll usually need them.

 

Regarding the That is a rather large dependency list.  You might have a hard time finding some dependencies on a list that long.  Several of them are widely used, but I don't know where to find some of the others, I looked around and came up empty.  I think details on where to get them are missing.  You may want to avoid the frustration. 

 

There are tons of other things to download with easy to find dependencies.  Many authors even include the links to them right in the description.  Also if you download stuff from one author like Paeng (for example), many of his downloads rely on the same dependencies, so you won't need to find them more then once.
