Make a giant metropolis

On SC 4 we were able to create a mega metropolis because on the same region, the city slots were all together. Are we able to do the same on 5?

And we cant create a new region and edit the slot either? Using a sort of SC4Mapper for exemple

No.  There is no way to edit the region at this time.

 

The current open slots are perfect little squares that exist between city spaces.

Right. This is the always online, ultra interaction version of SimCity. So naturally your interaction options are severely limited. Try finding a region with available slots haha.

have to agree with you, but in Titan Gorge all the cities connect, just not by road, road connects 4 cities and rail connects 4 different cities, so you could pass money around the region to get it to the city you want, I like the Reflection Atoll because it has 7 cities that all connect by road there (that's the most cities that all directly connect together)

 

btw I'd like to build a 2.5mil population region
