New to bating and loting

hi guys i'm new to bat editing. im using sc4  B.A.T (gmax) sc4 plugin manager and lot editor. now ive made a basic bat and got it in to the plugin manager.ive put it under park as a test but when i open it up in lot editor it looks good when zoomed right out like this

but when zoomed in closer it looks like this

any of you experts have any advice :)

First question. Have you applied the "texture fix" (Not sure where you would get it now.)

Second question. Have you tried to re-export the model?

    im going to read the bating tutarial again.i clearly got something wrong lol. thanks mntoes for your advice :) ill post again when i get it right

    Ok ,but try the re-export first. I don't think you have done anything wrong as this is a well reported problem

    i made a new building and it exported perfect thx mntoes. i think i might have had export quality set lower lol. begginers error. so all that is left to do now is get used to gmax more and try some ideas. any suggestions to were i could get some texures?

    i use to make mapes for unreal tournament so i had to get used to adding shapes instead of subtracting :) any 1 who had done it will know

    No problem.  Keep showing us you progress. I think you need to get this thread moved to the "SCB Bat Open discussion thread" though as it's more to do with building rather than modding.

    If you decide to do this I think you will have to ask a member of admin to do it for you.(by Private message)

    thx for letting me know mate :) ill probably creat a new thread there instead (wow im a poet and i dont know it ) when ive finished practicing with gmax. my plan is to attemp to make the new mansfield bus station nottinghamshire UK. i am an industrial cleaner (a lot different to daily office cleaning lol) and my company was tasked with cleaning it. here is a artist pic z4RshmT.jpg

    That will be a very ambitious project. Getting the glass right will be a bloody nightmare. However, if you take your time, follow loads of tutorials, and ask advice in the BAT forums, then it should be achievable. It may be better to start with something a little smaller, then build up to this. Best of luck though. I'll deffo be watching out for this, as I do with all British projects.
