While looking over your BAT, I've found a somethings I just can't ignore.

First off, the part where you currently have the SAMs, It looks too wide. If you look at the pictures, their smaller.

2nd. The Body itself also looks to Wide. It should be skinnier

3rd. Your BAT looks too Boxy. It dosn't look detailed enough. It should have some sloped edges.

3rd. The border around the Cockpit dosn't look right. The picture shows theres only 2 sides to it. On the left and right.

4th. Rail guns should be bigger, as well SAM. On your 2nd picture of the MMKII, the SAMS looked like their attached to the Rail Guns


I know this I alot of things I found wrong with it. But truth is I coudn't help but tell you. Weither to change them is up to you, I just think it would look better with these changes. But then again, that my opinion.

He's got a point in the picture the AA batteries do look like there connected to the railes.

I kind of agree with these peoples points, kinda dont I dunno. It look..okay..to me.. Maybe some things are off but its great and acceptable to me. Beside, whats the fun fi u do it all exactly how the game looked. One thing that kinda botheres me is the texture. I think the smoothness of the Mammoth MK II in the game looked better. This seems to textured and rusty to me. I dunno just me. As for thr guns, I dunno, as long as they're there and seem close enough to the real thing. Keep going on this I can't wait till you release another one!
 
EDIT: I just looked at your cinematic picture again and noticed its kind atextured like yours in that, but I still think the darker part needs to be a little lighter and more smooth. Not necessarily completely smooth but just more than it is now.

    err, sorry i havent updated in a while, i picked up my old copy of RCT2 and kinda got addicted...
    the mammoth mk2 is gonna be released in a prop pack with all the gdi vehicles, including the rarely seen mammoth mk1.  currently i'm detailing the mammoth, and beginning more vehicles... but could someone find me a good desert camo texture?  i'll need it for all the gdi vehicles.

    There's an MKI?Or do you mean the tank?BTW are you going to put these in any of the tiberium project buildings because I can't get the lot editor to put them in.8.gif

    yup...
     
    the props are gonna be released as, well, props and then theyll be put in future buildings.
     
    and yes the mammoth mk1 was a tank.  it was in tibeirium dawn, and was in one mission in firestorm (the one where you had to destroy the forgotten base).

    Yeah I thought so.But the MKI wan't really that rare.I loved using them in Tiberian Dawn.Between the twin 120mm cannons and the mammoth tusk missles they where to good to not use as GDI.

    It's been awhile since I last posted here. Looks like your on the right track. Can't find the GDI tech center in the BAT files anywhere, are you rolling it in the package with the tiberium, GDI vehicles, Mammoth MKII or is it separate?

    Interested in seeing the MKI. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the bottom of the MRLS a little flatter?

    For the Tech center do you have anything for nightitme lighting or are you using ambient light? A good suggestion for the GDI symbol out front, is turn it into a fountain that displays lighting during the night. Likewise for the separate GDI and NOD fountians have them display lighting during the night.

    Hey nosoup, I made a suggestion via PM long time ago about how the nuke silo was too clean IMO. I was just curious if you changed your mind and decided it was ok, are going to redo it soon, or redo it after almost everyhing else is done? No rush just a question. But there is a rush for your other stuff...I simply can't wait lol.

    Yeah the bottom of the MRLS was flatter.And are you going to make titans instead of GDI tanks?BTW could you make the Mammoth MKI UDI able?I'd love to drive one of those down the street!

    No offense but can nosoupforyou even make UDI yet? He hasn't learned to make tiberium flora can he make vehicles? Again, no offense to you nosoup I'm just saying. I just don't know if nosoupforyou has any experience making vehicles. I dunno. Anyway, still looking good. I agree with Nick on the bottom of the MRLS, but then again it doesn't look too bad. Keep up the good work!

    youre right pickle, i have no idea how to make udi.  i wish BAT had animation so i could make the hovering effect for the mrls...  i'll go in and fix the bottom, it does look a tad weird now that you mention it...

    heres the mrls in it's current stage.  i softened the curve a bit, and am currently working on how the missle launchers are attached to the ship.

    wow, it looks really good, now tht i look back at earlier posts. I wish i could help u guys (not tht i have any time tho =/ )

    Hey just came by to ask how its all going, nosoup. I probably gave people false hope who looked at the thread seeing AHH NEW POST. Sorry. Maybe I'm the only one who checks this every hour i can to see something new lol. Anyway, just lookin for an update if there's anythign worth mention :).

    Oh yeah of course Mammoth MKII all take double A batteries didn't you know that?j/k Yeah I suppose it could confuse people if they didn't no batteries meant launcher.

    i need some good men (or women) to help me...
     
    i need a good texture artist to help me make a desert camoflodge texture,
    and i need someone who knows how to make UDI vehicles,
    and i need someone to teach me how to make custom queries...
     
    the udi and query thing, it would be fine if you just directed me to a tutorial, but i need someone to make a desert camo texture DESPERATELY!!!  it is the one thing i will need for all of my vehicles.  Thanks!

    Query you say? Didnt daeley make a custom query tutorial way back in the day?
    Ok maybe not way back in the day maybe earlier this year..but it was a day though it didnt stand out much...*sigh* Anyway Im suggesting you try finding it and maybe trying to use that.
