Troubled University

I built a university in my city but im having trouble getting it's student population high enough to start adding other school buildings to it. Any friendly advice someone?

i really cant think of anything, maybe you put it down a little to soon? i have only bothered to use a university once thus far and had no issues, however 1/2 my students come from global. maybe ferries park and ride or something like that might help, or maybe its just a time thing.

Building 3 dormitories will help boost attendance, but if you read the description of the dormitory it actually doesn't increase capacity for your city's students. A dormitory will basically just supply fake students to your school but it doesn't allow for more of your city to actually attend the University. If you want a university that has a really good attendance rate you should close all your other types of educational buildings.
