Among a few other things, there is going to be a more predictable way to know when Waldo is going to a landmark.  Also, I'm going to most likely raise the points for landmark questions so that a landmark can have a serious impact on the scoring.

Here's a little update on the status of things.

The game will most likely not be able to restart this week.  I've been reworking the rules (they are staying primarily the same, but some additional information is being added).  Hence, I have not been able to finish it.  Unless something bad happens though, it should restart next week.  I promised that Season 2 would have some interesting additions from Season 1, and I will tell you that there will be a new hint system, and Waldo is going to play.  I've got some challenges worked up, so when I finish with the rules, Season 2 can get started!

Since I have changed some of the rules, I thought that I would repost them here for everyone to see.

 

RULES OF PLAY

 

Waldo will travel to various spots on the globe with each challenge.  Every challenge will fall into one of two categories: normal challenge and landmark challenge.  The rules regarding each type of challenge are below.

 

NORMAL CHALLENGE

In a normal challenge, a player can score a maximum of 100 points on the challenge.  You can score points for identifying the continent, country, and the city that Waldo is located in.  If you are the first to get all of them correct, you can make bonus points for a clean sweep.  You will need to mention the complete location of the challenge to get all of the points for that challenge (e.g. If you mention the city, you will need to mention the country and continent to get the points for those two details).  In the event that Waldo goes to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags />Australia (which will happen from time to time) then you can simply mention Australia and get the points for both the country and continent.  As for Oceania and New Zealand, then you should list the continent as

Fairlane gets the points for everything but question 2.  For question 2, the answer I was thinking of was two times, but based on what amal said, I can now think of at least three times that has happened, and there is no way to know just how many times it has happend.  So, amal gets the points
