Pedestrian Paths

Anyone else notice the pedestrian paths inside the university edit screen?  I would love to see this as a normal road option you can place anywhere. Especially if done as 1/4 width of a normal road.  Walking paths that cut through city blocks, or through central parks, or place a small park on the top of a cliff and have a walking path only access to it for your sim hikers!  There is a lot of fun things that could be done if this option was moved out of the university only and made a normal option, even some clever traffic management.

 

Even more fun, a later DLC maybe, sims on bicycles who can take pedestrian OR car roads.  Maybe with 1 out of 100 sims being one willing to bike to work.

arent those roads for university the same as for garbage building or wind park where you expand with a road....

The university roads pedestrian paths are working and placable in the whole city. A redditor build an amazing town with these paths. An extra option for different pedestrian paths in the road menu would be great thought.
