I would like to incorporate some of the cool region maps I see in the STEX, I have downloaded Terraformer from SCRDevo site and have begun to try to figure out how to set it up but am hitting some snags. Is there a post or information around here somewhere that might help me out.

Thanks!

Thanks! I am having trouble installing terraformer; I downloaded it from SC4 Devo and then go to the .exe and receive this:

    ImportError: MemoryLoadLibrary failed loading tools3d.pyd

Ok I found a link that helps with terraformer and I got it running for me. However, North Cascades, the map I would like to upload doesn't meet the dimensions requirement 1025X1025??? What's the deal with that?

Have you copied the map's config.bmp file into your new region folder? If you've created this new region in game, you'll need to overwrite the existing config.bmp .

Your new region will be located at:

    \Documents\SimCity 4\Regions\[Region Name]

This should allow the map to be imported using SC4 Terraformer.

Yep, followed your instructions and when I went to save the file Windows encountered an error and couldn't continue. When I tied to open the region through Terraformer again it failed and indicated there was an issue with RAM. Maybe 3gig override on a 32-bit XP OS isn't enough to process this custom map? Man wish I could do something about this. Thanks for the help.
