Jerky, lagging gameplay

Ok finally got to start 'playing' the game last night at 2.30am after a 2.5 hour install time. But the damn thing is completely unplayable. If I want to plop something I have to sit there for 5 minutes clicking the mouse before it actually goes down. Changing the camera around is a nightmare really laggy and slow and sitting watching it is like watching one of those old webcams where everything stops for half a second every second lol.

Even the intro is jerky and at the main menu the background picture is covered in white dots as if its snowing or something. I have no idea if its an issue with my computer or the servers? I easily got into a server (EU server) just could barely play because of the lag.

My pc is 2.50ghz intel core2 quad, 6mb ram and an intel chipset something or other video card. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks.

You have integrated graphics.  Your not going to see any kind of performance without a dedicated graphics card.  You should have a PCI-e expansion slot on your motherboard where you can install a decent graphics card.  A starting point for that would be the minimum specs for video:

 

Video: 

    Players will need at least a 512 MB video card featuring either an
NVidia 7800 or better, an AMD chipset of at least an ATI Radeon HD 2x00
or better, or an Intel Series 4 integrated graphics or better.

 

What motherboard do you have?
