How do I plant trees?

I notice my cities are virtually (no pun intended) treeless. I want to plant trees, but I don't see how to do it. Anyone know how? If so, please share the secret. Thanks.

The "Plant Forest" option can be found in the PARKS menu. Go to the tab called "NATURE ($$)" and click on the right arrow to get to the plant forest option

I seriously didn't know how to plant trees for the first couple weeks too.   Didn't realize that you could scroll over to another set of options.

To be fair to the OP, it took me ages to figure out there were trees in the game as well. Had no idea there was a manual, and the manual doesn't go into detail about trees I don't think (well, not the online one anyway).

Forest planting is terrible thought. You cant plant in a lot of places even if it looks like plenty of room.
