Terrain textures not showing

The game is really fun, however the terrain is acting up, meaning, completely nonexistant. I wish I could take a picture, but printscreen doesn't work. Is this an installation problem?

Yes! That's it! I changed the graphics to both all high and all low, but nothing happens. That is exactally it.

I did the same, have tried upgrading drivers.  I didn't have any trouble like this during the beta.

Well, uninstalled the game, reinstalled and it's working.

 

Some things to note:

 

The first time I installed, I installed off the disc (I bought the physical copy).

The first time I installed, I installed to my SSD.

 

The second time I installed, I used the (crappy) Origin client to download and install.

The second time I installed, I installed to a standard HDD.

Oh Thanks, I'll try this soon. How do you do the  Origin Client download? I bought a physical copy as well, and I don't know how to do it. Cross fingers and hope it works.

Once I uninstalled it the first time, it still showed in Origin, just instead of "Play" as the main option, it was "Download".

I had the same problem - thought it was because I'm playing on Bootcamp on a mac. 

 

I had purchased the physical copy too, so I'm following Xameius's instructions and uninstalled and am currently re-downloading through Origin. 

 

Fingers crossed.  I'll update once its completed to see it this fix seems to work for everyone.

I was having exact same problem.  Before uninstalling and downloading-- try looking for SimCity Recovery.  Should be in same folder with your program.  I did this and it took several minutes to download a file or two and then played fine.  No issues.

im gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if works for me. i have a similar yet different problem lol
