    I had the same problem - thought it was because I'm playing on Bootcamp on a mac. I had purchased the physical copy too, so I'm following Xameius's instructions and uninstalled and am currently re-downloading through Origin. Fingers crossed. I'll update once its completed to see it this fix seems to work for everyone.
