Anyone else feel this way?

Does anyone else feel creeped out when playing the Beta, or viewing the videos? I don't know how to explain it other than I feel uneasy playing the game. I never experienced this in ANY other game in my life. I don't know if its the environment with the depressing orange haze cloud cover or what. It sort of reminds me of beetlejuice in an odd way. I did try the different filters and found one that helped a bit but it still felt weird.

I'm really not sure what it is, it's just... creepy. Maybe its that it feels like I am looking into a paper / cardboard model world, but it's not sitting on desk, it's in some artificial environment with a creepy sky.

Anyone else?

I was thinking of the model town in Beetlejuice when I was playing too.  It doesn't creep me out though, I love the model feel.

A little bit of a "creepy" feel to much for you?

Oh come on, I've had that plenty of time in past games. I felt slightly creeped out by the original Sims and for a little-known game called Titan Quest... But also like you, I just couldn't quite put my finger on it!

Anyways, that usually meant for me that the game would be incredibly fun. The thrill of having something creepy, but that you couldn't quite explain why it was so always added to the element of the game. Happy Campings!

That would be a fine feeling for something like Dead Space but I just don't think it fits a city simulator. ;)
